Search the Web, Help Rescue Pets
There are few things more satisfying than knowing you've helped an animal live a happier, healthier, life. And no one understands more than you that these tough economic times also affect animals, as people are sometimes forced to give up a pet and contributions to animal charities decline dramatically. That's why Dogpile.com has launched the Search & Rescue program. Now, you can help us support the ASPCA® and rescue pets just by doing what you already do - searching the Web.
Search - Dogpile.com is a search engine that provides the best results from all the leading
search engines. And through this program, a portion of the revenue generated will be
donated to the ASPCA®.
Rescue - Our ultimate goal is to raise $1 million by the end of 2009 to support pet rescue efforts.
The more people, search, the more we can donate.

Antibiotic Safety Week
CDC Get Smart About Antibiotics Week October 6-11, 2008
General information on using antibiotics safely; when, where, and how they should be used. Please visit the following websites for further information:
- Sometimes the best medicine is no medicine at all (at least not antibiotics)
- When prescribed antibiotics, use them properly. Only use antibiotics prescribed to you, follow the instructions, take all the antibiotics even if you feel better, don't share the antibiotics with anyone, and properly dispose of unused and expired antibiotics (empty medications in the trash, not into toilets).
