Courage for Kyle
Kyle McGentrick is an 8-year old resident of Barnegat who attends the Dunfee Elementary School. When Kyle was 5-years old, he discovered he had a form of Leukemia known as A.L.L. Kyle went through several years of treatment to beat this disease. Sadly, Kyle has recently found out he has had a relapse, and the Leukemia has returned. We in the community of Barnegat are trying to raise money for Kyle's medical bills to help him beat this disease for good.

Antibiotic Safety Week
CDC Get Smart About Antibiotics Week October 6-11, 2008
General information on using antibiotics safely; when, where, and how they should be used. Please visit the following websites for further information:
- Sometimes the best medicine is no medicine at all (at least not antibiotics)
- When prescribed antibiotics, use them properly. Only use antibiotics prescribed to you, follow the instructions, take all the antibiotics even if you feel better, don't share the antibiotics with anyone, and properly dispose of unused and expired antibiotics (empty medications in the trash, not into toilets).
